I have just taken a course on Social Software & Web 2.0 from Umea University. I guess those who knows me will think it is strange as I have setup companies doing social software and web 2.0 and have been relatively familiar with the subjects concerned. However I took the course to have a different perspective on Social Software and Web 2.0. All along, when I was running the businesses, profits and losses is the main priority. I have never done any indepth study on the subjects before. Taking this opportunity to marry practical experiences from my work with the theoretical knowledge taught at Umea University.

Social Networking

Social Networking and Microblogging has been the rage in town. I guess few will have no Face Book or Twitter accounts. Hoping to make use of this opportunity in the course to learn more about the underlining theories behind the successes of Face Book, Twitter and the likes.
