Have requested for status of the vacancy reserved for me. The Senate had been kind enough to reserve the position for me and I had just indicated acceptance of the position. That would be a full time of 5 years overseas on academic research.

I need a break out of the commercial world and out of Singapore where I had been all my life. The change will do me good. My most sincere thanks to the Senate for the opportunity given and their willingness to keep the position open throughout my turbulent decision making process. More or less fixed now………
