Have to attend an LMS intensive course right in Chinese New Year. Those who do not attend cannot teach the university. No choice have to attend, but quite tiring right in CNY when everyone else is celebrating. The LMS looks impressive, hopes that it performs as good as it looks. LMS does help a lot in teaching, you no longer have to repeat so many times or even schedule backup lectures as you can have the lectures online. Students no longer need to photostat notes when they can download it anytime they want. But I feel that with LMS, there is more of a need for the lecturer to automatically try to connect to the students. Technology can bring the human element extremely far apart which is not good overall.
