Given that the caesium-137 has a half life of 30 years, I think the surround area will have to be quite empty for the next half a century. Poor Japan, the nuclear facilities are designed for Richter 7.0 and definitely not 9.0 scale. I don’t know anyone can design a nuclear reactor that can withstand a 9.0 scale. I guess the ROI will be about infinite.
