Really stressed . My dearest nephew is taking his NAPLAN. As his favorite uncle, I will be dead if he scored badly. My sis will sure blame me for teaching him how to properly collect Pokemon for tournaments etc. He take exams I more worry than him. From analysis, the stated curriculum should be similar and complement the tested curriculum. What I am most worried about is the taught curriculum at his school. You will need to analyze the correlation of results for all the subjects. Find which subjects are lagging and concentrate on teaching the methodology on how to solve the questions. To me, I never teach by rote, it is useless. The best is to teach him how to approach the question, how to analyze and how to solve the question. Understanding what the question is testing him about. Hope he won’t disappoint me, or the first victim is not him but me. My sis sure blame me for all the pokemon collections, games, videos, movies and whatever on pokemons that I have taught him.

If you ask me, I feel that Australia and Singapore no difference at all, if you are kiasu, where ever you are, you will also be kiasu. Stress is the same in Singapore or in Australia. Just thanking God, no second language, or I sure die, his Chinese is kinda weak, to put it in the kindest sense…..:(
