Using blog as an education tool is effective especially for the purpose of communications. Students can communicate asynchronously. Information can be presented in the blog post proper and discussions can be done via students through comments. However as stated earlier, asynchronous does have its problems. Some students check on Internet far more than others and other students are simply afraid of using the Internet. Therefore there is a need to balance, to monitor the activities of the students and to encourage those that are not familiar with the blog to use it more often so as to achieve a more uniform participation in education through the Blog.
