It took me about 6 months to understand the mathematical modeling of Professor John Nash’s PhD thesis. The economic theories are much easier to put forward but the underlining theory of his model is tough reading. How many of us got a PhD reference letter with 3 words “He is a genius”. My reference letters was quite long as my Professors tried to justify that this idiot has the potential of taking up a doctorate degree . You have to pity them, not easy for them to write nice things about Yours Truly, glowing praises which I myself felt guilty to the extent that I thought they may be writing the references for some other candidates. Professor Nash PhD Thesis was a mean 21 page of equations. And mind you after 6 months I still have some parts that I do not fully understand. It is a continual process trying to understand the brilliance behind this man. 21 pages and he got a PhD, I need 200 pages of torture.

One day I really hope to be able to meet this man face to face, I want to know if he is a human or a superman.
