难得糊涂
For me 郑板桥 evokes only memories of bamboo paintings. He had an extremely mean and stylish way of painting bamboo that makes his painting of bamboo one of my targets for collection. But he did had a poem I admire very much. Fit my present state of mind perfectly.
聪 明 难,糊 涂 尤 难,由 聪 明 而 转 入 糊涂 更 难。放 一 著,退 一 步,当 下 安 心,非 图 后 来 报 也。
Life is just a dream, there are things I really hope to know about, but sometimes thinking back. No point in being too persistent, what is yours is yours, what isn’t wont be. Just leave everything to fate.
难得糊涂 does display another side of 郑板桥, his calligraphy is excellent.

难得糊涂
But if I were to practice calligraphy, I think I would be writing 丧乱帖 , close to my mood at present. But I do not yet have the skills even to copy not to say right with a single stroke of the brush. 丧乱帖 is arguably the best that 王羲之 had produced and the essence is a deviation from standard 草字. It was said that 王羲之 in absolute pain and sorrow which was fully displayed in the free flowing of his calligraphy in deviant from his standard writings. It was said to be 王羲之 at his most natural (and sorrowful)

丧乱帖
Give me another 20 years, I should be able to trace out 丧乱帖, but to be able to write like him, never, at least I do have some self knowledge.
