Watched the entire Pokemon 2007 movie with my two nephews. No choice, have to watch with them. The subtitles are in Chinese, problem is their Mandarin really can’t make it after being in Australia for so many years. I seemed to be watching and translating to them from Japanese to English throughout the show explaining what had happened throughout the 90 minutes of the movie. Pity Youtube only shows the trailers. A nicely made movie.

The Japanese are extremely innovative, able to come out with such characters. The show is cartoon for kids but it really brings out what happen in real life. I do sympathized a lot with Darkrai, at least being so hideous, he seemed the obvious candidate to be blame for anything and everything. But as the movie progressed, he was the hidden protector of the city, blamed for the troubles but unappreciated for the injuries and hurt he sustained throughout. Though at least unlike real life, he finally got the understanding of the characters in the movie in the end. Can really understand how Darkrai feels…….
